Well I just want to keep the comfort of driving it around on the street like AC and have a stereo to listen to. My motor is borderline to radical for the street.
The car is a pig I weighed it at a lil over 3500 without my 205 pnd fatass in it. I would like to lose about 200 pnds out of it without the AC or stereo.

You may wish to review the "stickie" entitled "Weight Reduction List (updated)" at the top of the Drag Racing Tech forum. That's a reasonably complete synopsis of what can go and what each item weighs.

all i gotta say is if this is a car you will be driving on the street a lot i sure as hell hope you dont get in an accident without your bumper supports or get t boned without your door bars...safety is a lil more important imo than dropping a few lbs especially on a street car. Now if it was a race only car or barely saw street time that's a dif story

Yea you are right I am a lil hesitant but this car may see about 200 miles a month if that total street/strip

At home I have a whole list of weights for things that I have taken out of the car, unfortunately I won't be home for 2 weeks but I can remember some...

From diching my ORY and Magnaflow Catback for my dumped X-Pipe I shed almost 60lbs. The rear seat and cushions weight in or around 30lbs. and the rear seatbelts and assembly weigh 7lbs. The spare and jack weighs 37lbs. and the rear cover weighs 3lbs. The AIR/EGR are good for 12-15lbs. and swapping from the stock DS to an LS1 aluminum shed me 5.5lbs of rotational mass.

That's just some very basic things you could yank out or swap to in a couple hours.

^ agreed Big T.

the door bars are way smaller than the cage bars would be anyway, and if something comes through the side cage bar it just wasnt meant to be lol
