Thats what my LT1 is in check out thirdgen.org there is alot of good info on ltx swaps.

buddy of mine is in the process of putting an lt1 in a 83 trans am. should be pretty sweet when it's done.

I just put one in my 85 TA. It's a full second faster than the old 305 was in the 1/8th already.
