An N/A car at 500rwhp is going to need a Solid Roller cam.
I'm not sure what your idea of a DD is, but you can if you want to.
A more reasonable way to hit that number on pump gas with a Hydraulic Cam
would be to do a typical H/C combo from LE and AI and throw a 125 shot on top of it.
(Both companies can provide either Solid or Hydraulic roller options)

Don't get focused on rwhp numbers...What are your goals for the car? Street? Strip? a mix of both? I only make 375 rwhp on a Mustang Dyno...My track numbers would suggest otherwise...

If you want 500 rwhp you better plan on spending some dough. You're going to need a shortblock that can handle that not to mention some bigtime heads and cam. It's possible but look around...very few cars are doing that without nitrous.

Many of us use the 18% drive-line loss figure when converting dyno power to rear wheel power.
So using that figure, in order to make 500 HP at the rear wheels you'd need to make right at 610 HP at the crank.
As a streetable daily driver your expectation is over the top. Drop your expectaions by 100 HP and you'll be in the ball-park.
