I run 15x10's with 325's in the rear however had to use the BFH mod and cut the bump stops, running 205/60/15's in front with 15x6's. I think I have a couple pix in "my garage". Only thing I wish I woulda done is run a 65 series in the front

im thinking about getting the jegs sports lites basically the same thing just alot cheaper, but they dont have a 7.5 backspacing for the 15x10 that i want to run, also they dont have 15x6's for the fronts, would they custom make them or what

Since I have very low pad life I didnt have to grind the fronts or use a spacer. Even with low pads on the rear I still had to grind a good bit. Took less than 10mins to get them to fit. Im sure once I put new pads on I'll have to grind the rear some more and use a spacer up front. I'm also stick on stock studs for now too. I'm running 15x3.5s and 15x8.

Do you really need a 10" rim though. I think that would make you have to go to a 28" tire wouldnt it? Since you arent on the bottle, id stay with a 26"

im going to be running a 15x4 in the front, what tire would u recommend and size, im trying to get the widest tire for this rim because i dont want them to skinny, thanks guys

I have rear prostars 15x8 with 5.5 BS 275/50 MT DRs and greg weld fronts 15X3.75 with a 1.75 BS and 26x4.5 MT ET Fronts. I didnt need any grinding and no spacers front or rear. Im sure if I put in new brake pads I would of had about 2min worth of grinding the fins on the rear calipers only.

whats the biggest tire i can run on the 15x4 on the front, cause i look up tires like mickey thompsons, but they have the tire sizes like 26x4.5 which kind of confuses me

You are missing the point of running skinnies. You run them for the weight savings. You want to run a 15x4 and then get the biggest tire that will fit? I ran 15x3.5 with a 165/85r/15 radial tire. Each tire/rim weighed 29.5lbs. I have since gone to a Moroso bias-ply on the front and now each one weighs 19lbs. If you run a 15x4 with a 205ish radial they will weigh around 35-40lbs each. Unsprung weight is HUGE when it comes to 1/4 mile ET's. My combo will cost exactly the same as your combo but will shave over 40lbs of unsprung weight off of the nose of your car. That's a simple choice for me to make.

most guys run a 26" or a 28" tall tire if more mph is needed.. i believe stock height is 25-26" tall depending on different sizes. year , model etc
Mt et's are a popular choice, moroso makes a DS-2 which is similar
some even use a radial tire (kuhmo 165/80/15)
hope this helps your decision

Stock tires are 24" tall, or at least that's what I got with a tape measure on them. For those of you running 15x8 on the back, what's your backspacing? I got a free set that have a 3.5" bs, and I'm not sure if that is going to work, sorry to bring up old threads, but can't find this info anywhere.

Launching!
Guys are running sub 10s on 245/60/15 M/T a 275/50 or 60 on a 8 in rim is plenty
I have the M/T sportsmans 9 ply up front. If the car sits they will flat spot
Liked the heavier ply little more stable and go around a corner better imo....Im going to sell the tires and get some contis or something up front they are lke new. Or getthe regular MT fronts they are pricy.
Although not an an F body went wiht the 15x5 front 3 are just too skinny
If you order from Summit have them mount and balance.
If you do it yourself putt he wheels on the machine FIRST and check for runout on the wheels I found out the hardway and had to send 3 back. They arent perfect but passable.
