Default Lt headers and 52 mm tb

I got i 94 trams am. Is it ok to just run long tube headers with with 52mm throttle body or should i go with a 58mm. And will long tube headers work if i put the eibach pro spring kit i all ready bought the springs.

52 should be fine. if you don't have upper end work I would forget the 58, it's too big for a stock engine. Go with the 52 and LT's and you should be fine with the pro-kit, depending on the LT's. Hooker's have really good clearance if I remember correctly

No it is stock motor i just wanted a little go what kinda extra power would that give me if any a know it would sound better with long tube headers

Headers will pick up some power, but probably nothing that you will really feel. It will sound a lot better though.

The throttle body is a big fat waste of money. My car came with a 58mm TB already installed. I sold it and went back to a stock one, and used the money for parts that actually helped me go faster. Going from a 58mm back to stock made absolutely no change in my track times.

yep stick with your stock throttle body, long tubes are good 4 about 14 hp at least thats what I gained ,I gained 0 with the 58mm tb.

you won't need a tune if all your doing is 52mm tb. It really won't make that much of a difference from the stock 48mm. You may be better off spending the money on a gear or converter if it's an auto. Or get a set of 1.6 rockers. I'd worry about the tb once you start getting into a top end package. The car will respond better to those mods.....and give you a little more kick in the shorts while driving.
