trans am pop up lights?

trans am pop up lights? I have a 97 trans am and the right light pops up after turning lights off? It comes up and goes down on command but after I turn it off it will go down and pop back up 90% of the way on its own??? the left works correctly, I have to manually roll it down to keep it down, but it does the same thing after I turn it back on. Anyone know whats going on?

Anytime there's a problem with our headlights, I assume it's the gear. It sounds like it could be because the motor has a mind of it's own when the gears inside them are worn. If this is the case, I HIGHLY recommend getting some hard coated aluminum gears from Bfranker. I have them and they work awesome. Only problem is making sure you get the epoxy to seal right after installing. Here's his site....
