well for the first time today i noticed this sound coming from my heads and it sounds like its only from my driver side. when i shut my car off you can hear the rocker arm or arms making a knocking or ticking kind of sound until they come to a complete stop.

my question is, is this normal or do you think a rocker arm is loose or something else maybe? what do you think i should do about it?

Pull the valve cover and find out. It's 4 bolts.
