Default bearing clearances

hey guys. when i go to put the factory replacement crank in what rod and main bearing clearances should i be looking for? i found stuff on the web that says not to use the stock .0015 to .0018. look for .0020 to .0025

I think .0015-.0025 is all in the acceptable range. The main reason most go tighter is for street rebuilds that won't see high rpm's, the tighter clearances will give better oil pressure and the engine in general will last longer. With the LT1 I prefer .0020 or a little more to help reduce the chance of spinning a rod bearing.
