Replacement oil pump for the OEM pump out of a 94 TA. Looking to swap mine out being the pan is off and I have access to it. Thank you for any info.

There have been numerous recent oil pump threads.

My recommendation:

Melling Select 10554 pump (std vol/std pressure 3/4" inlet).
GM white spring 3848911 for higher pressure.
GM pickup tube, 12550042.
Melling IS-55E shaft (may come with the 10554 pump).
GM oil pump drive gear 1103868 (if needed).

Just to confirm shoe's info, the IS-55E shaft does indeed come with the 10554 pump.

It seems like people keep shying away from the M155 because they talk about the casing not being as thick as the melling select pump but I've run the M155 with no issues. My dad has been running those for a while too. If you really think you need the added strength go to the melling select pump but IMHO I think the M155 will be fine. It's like $40 and you can get it from Autozone.

Were you able to pull the oil pan off in the car. Not trying to hijack.
