A/C Delete Questions

A/C Delete Questions Little help guys. Im installing a gm847 cam at the moment. The engine is torn down and removed from the car. I want to get rid of my a/c components from under the hood while i have all of this room. Question is can i remove the air box from the engine compartment or do i have to get behind the dash?

if im not mistaking removing that box with delete your heating as well. if not let me know cause if thats just A/C im yanking that bitch out tonight and laying a sheet off aluminum over it. great thing about having a bunch of scrap metal laying at work. lol
and also i had to cut and break my a/c box up from under the hood. Mine might have been different but it had some screws from inside, under the dash, screwed through to the outside portion of the box.
