LS1 lid question

I plan on doing the LS1 lid conversion. Looking on the internet, I found an SLP lid, but it asks 1998-2000, or 2001-02.
What is the difference, and which one do I want? they are the same price.

Also, I have a filter tray from a 2000 V6 model, are the filters and trays the same for v6 and v8?

the year does not matter for the conversion. you will not be able to use the shroud/support unless you have a Ws6 hood the flat hood will NOT clear.

You can trim some of the hood that doesnt clear, its not like people really care what the underside of your hood looks like.

the complete assembly will NOT fit unless you cut a hole in the hood!
the lid by itself can be fitted by trimming the hood and core support.

the lower air box is the same on Ls1's and V-6's so the filter trey will work
