Default spraying a 93 lt1

has anyone sprayed a 93 lt1? i really want to put the bottle on but i kno i cant truly tune the car to its best potential. any ideas?

You can safely run up to a 150 shot, given you are using the proper equipment, safety precautions, and setup.

As long as you run a window switch and a WOT switch and you keep it to a 150 wet shot or below, you should have no problems. I would upgrade your fuel pump to a Walbro 255lph pump and I would try to pull timing somehow to be on the safe side. You could pick up a MSD 6A.

Well I'm not going to push it past 125 I would like to keep my car for a while. I have a 255 pump but I was under the impression that I needed to get the car tuned if I was to do more than a 75 shot, and the 93 is using the stupid pcm chip.

I have heard that spraying a 100 wet shot w/ 100 octane requires no tuning, no experience with it though. You can get an aftermarket ignition control box (MSD 6A for example) to retard timing while on spray and stay on the safe side.
