Default 10" of vaccum on cc306

I did a vaccum test on my car to day and is running like complete crap. It came up with 10" of vaccum st idle and 17" of vaccum at 2000 rpms and held there. Also the car is popping and backfiring through the intake. what would cause this to happen? What would cause 10 on the vaccum reading st idle is this normal for this cam?

Check your valve lash. Might be too tight.

Something sounds wrong here. I stock cam makes around 12" at idle. My 224/230 107LSA makes 17" at idle. I would expect the CC306 to be around 17"-20" or so. Dont see how in the world your cam can have the same as a stock cam.

nothing wrong with 10" vacuum on a CC306. Stock cam should probably make 18"+ at idle. The more overlap you have, the LESS vacuum you'll have.
