LT1 WATER PUMP BOLT PATTERn
Is the LT1 water pump bolt pattern the same as a regular SBC.
im switching to a electric water pump. and if possible im going to use one for a SBC to get rid of the ugly stock water pump

You'd have to find a different water pump housing that will clear the timing cover and opti. Haven't seen anything besides the stock unit used. I don't see how much better looking one water pump is to another anyways...

SBC pumps won't work on LTx blocks because of reverse flow cooling. If you look at the block it has two holes for feed/return versus only having the feed holes on SBC/BBC blocks. This is also how the LTx can run a dry manifold versus a wet style the SBC/BBC run. You can get creative with maybe making an adapter if you REALLY want to.
