Default A/C Temp

I'm thinking on possibly replacing my compressor sometime in the near future. I've done so on my 96 S-10 in the past and had a thermometer in the A/C vent that registered 44 degrees. It can pretty much freeze me out on a 100+ degree day. But on the other hand my LT1 A/C seems to keep the comfort level to tolerable at best. What kind of cooling temps are you guys seeing after a new LT1 compressor install?

I havent bothered to check, I just knew it wasnt anything special. It has the original 110k compressor. I've heard the heaters arent anything special either. But you would think a new A/C system that is properly charged would at least keep you some what cool. I was just curious if there was a significant difference, or whether LT1 A/Cs just plain suck. But like you said the glass Ttops dont seem to help unless their out. Its like an oven at times
