yeah, I really don't know how much they go for but you are right why get a LT1 when the LS1 are getting cheaper.

Yea, maybe, but Pontiac is no more and they don't make these cars anymore. LT1 or LS1, if people keep letting the value drop, they will end up like the 3rd gens...more beaters than nice ones until the few nice ones left go for way more than they should had people taken care of the ones they had/not hacked them beyond belief/kept convincing themselves they aren't worth anything because there are "so many other out there". The Yugo wasn't worth much either, but good luck finding one in good shape now...now they are worth more than they should be if you do find one.
