Missing out issues
Ok, a buddy and I have been trying to diagnose what's wrong with my car for awhile now, here's the run down: after the car has reached operating temperature it starts to act up. At idle in gear the rpm's will fluctuate between 500-700 dipping back and forth, also right after converter lockup if I give the car part throttle it will miss out, especially under load like going up a hill. If I continue to give it throttle it will clear up until higher rpm's and it will start to miss again.
The car has brand new plugs and wires (none of the wires are burnt). We thought it was the coil so we replaced it, didn't help. We tried a new icm, didn't help. Also we tried a new opti but it still does the exact same thing. The car also has a new fuel pump and filter. We're thinking it might be a bad injector. . Anybody have any other ideas???

my car is doing something very similar. i also have all new ignition pieces. how you pulled your fuel rail off and primed it to see if all of the injectors are functioning properly? is the service engine soon light on?

I havn't yet checked the injectors, I will in the next couple days. As far as codes, it has a few. All the emmissions are gone, cats, air pump, egr. I need to have it scanned again to see exactly what codes it is throwing
Is your map sens. funct. ok sounds like the problems im having with 93corvette lt1. i replaced opticrap with msd & COIL ,ECT.MAP.SENSOR,NEW WIRES&PLATNUM PLUGS,PURGED INJECTORS,NEW ECM,SAME TROUBLE.MY mech. said my map sensor is putting out 500 volts or olms whatever it is and its supposed to put out 5 or .5 cant remember.i read on another thread some one had same prob. with map sens. Said chevy has something th splice into ??? dont no where or what thats as far as he explained whaiting to hear back from him.

Checked the injectors they were are all reading fine. Scanned the car and it's throwing two o2 sesor codes and a egr malfunction code. All of that should be normal since the rear o2s are removed along with the egr. Ideas??

What i meant to say was i am also having a very similar problem, has any one ever figured it out? Sorry about the other post my 15 month old daughter was smashing up my keyboard and some how switched it to Chinese..
