How to measure pushrod length how to?? Need help Please.

Hey Guys Im just at the stage om my LE2 H/C/I build where I need to measure my pushrod length I have the measuring tool but im unsure how to correctly measure the length. Is there a "how to" I can follow? If anyone could help that would be great as I am kinda stuck on my build until I get this part done.
