Default Pressure plate bolts?

Long story short, I lost my clutch pressure plate bolts for my LT1 car and was looking to buy some more. So I called every auto parts stores with no luck. So I called the dealer and they said that they're discontinued, and the same for gmpartsdirect.com. The dealer gave me the exact dimensions of the bolt and it seems to be kind of an odd ball bolt, not as far as the threads go, but I assume the shank has a taper that "locates" the pressure platet to the flywheel.
Does anyone know if this is true and I'm gonna have to find a GM dealer that has any in stock or can I use a regular bolt that fits? To me, the pressure plate is aligned with the plastic tool included in a clutch kit and the bolts just lock it down in place, so I don't see how it could move around once its tightened down. But then again I could be totally wrong.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks a head of time.

on LT1, no. FW has a paint dab and typically a replacement clutch will have a paint dab as well to line up. On the brands that repaint a PP...than no paint mark

the FW does have a dowel hole to line up on crank

I called ARP and they have pressure plate bolts but not the specific size to fit an LT1 car. I finally found some at Scoggin Dickey Parts Center out of Texas, but that was after litterally 10 or so phone calls to many different shops. So if any of you guys have the factory bolts, you'd better hang on to them for sure, b/c GM has discontinued them. Oh yea, there about $5.00 a piece if you ever have to buy some.

The exact size is 3/8-16 x 1.62
