Cool Second run MUCH better!!!

So after my opti cap/rotor took a **** on me I had them replaced with Delco parts, found out my P/S pulley was severaly bent and about to throw my belt, and I had a slight fuel leak......Got it all fixed and went back to the track a couple hours ago...MUCH better! Still not where I think I SHOULD be, but I am please for not mainly because its not a lowsy 15.2!!! I also lowered my rear tire pressure to 25 lbs. and tried to shift higher. I used to shift at 5500, but tried 6200 this time...found out I have a Rev Limiter set at 6000 so it screwed me up in the overall time a little bit because I wasnt expecting it and hit it 2 times...that has to go, I will put in a limiter for 7000 next week.

Here was my time for my only run of the night:

Reaction - .2057
60ft - 2.2386
330ft - 5.8962
1/8 ET - 8.9198
1/8 MPH - 81.20
1000 ET - 11.5114
1/4 ET - 13.6954
1/4 MPH - 103.73

I would have ran more but since I ran a 13.6 they said I couldnt run anymore without a helmet. I wanted to get that reaction time and 60 Ft time down.

I almost flipped out, I was about to call your bluff HAHA...till I re-read and realized that it was an 1/8 mile track lmao! I already know my tune is bad and all, so its slowing me down, but I am just happy I solved whatever issue was making me run a 15.2 two weeks ago lmao! Next week my last few mods go in and I should be in the 12's or pray to god 11's if I can get that 60ft better

A 1.5 second reduction in et, hell yeah, I'd say that's better! A little more experimenting and you'll be in the low 13's in no time.
I'd say get some sticky tires and go for 12's, but not on a stock 10 bolt.

I was typing as you guys started talking 11's, So don't take my comment about 12's as a insult. I hope you do hit the 11's, but first you have to make it through the 12's. LOL

lol, with the mods I have right now I should be very low 13's if not high 12's if I could get my 60' down pat.....and take into consideration that of the list in my signature, I havent got the cam, fuel injectors, lifters, pushrods, or clutch installed just yet and it needs a new tune BAD! So when all of those go into the car next week, mixed with a new and improved tune, improved 60' time...oh and did I mention getting drag slicks too? Add those in as well......11's here I come!!! haha

Yea, with slicks and a 10bolt, you may hear snap. Good luck on the improvements. A good rear now and you would be in the 12's for sure.
