I just picked my car up at the bodyshop today, after getting the hood painted. I also got the new converter in last week, a new cam and valvsprings the week befor that and a few other little things befor that.. Anybody else do any mods befor the shootout?
I plan on running the extream street class and run some 11.0's and 10.9's allday. After driving it 550 miles there..What class you running and what times will you be running?

 

Almost ready. Should have the motor all buttoned up and running either later tonight or early tommorrow so it can be at the exhaust shop tommorrow afternoon. Running Extreme Street NA, driving it to KC from Wichita. Its about a 3 hour drive. I dunno what its gonna run for sure, but it had better be faster than last years 11.80s-90s.

I'm ready and just testing the new converter today.

Mike give it some street hell and tow it down. This way you still make the event and people get to see this beautiful Formula.

if it does break for some stupid reason in KS then it breaks and you load it up, eat some BBQ, drink some beer and it's all good

The movie was, "S.Darko" the second half to the original movie Donnie Darko.

 

Yeah not everything went as smoothly as I had hoped. The car won't be 100% like I wanted it to be because I ran out of time and money. It's close though. I couldn"t get the wheels I wanted in time either, so I had to use my backup plan.

Regardless, I'm bound and determined to make it there, race, and have a good time anyways I'll give you a call when we arrive friday evening and see where you guys are at

 

Car looks really good. I have the mighty Mississippi leaking from the coolant X over, the cars loading up on fuel and wont idle. So going to say I'm on drinking crew this shoot out.

damn..people are all in and out of issues just before the race. I'm glad to see the support is still there even if the cars can't make it.

Fri will be here before we know it and all having a good time.

I am swapping converters again this week and just make 1-2 passes Fri.
