I have the LT4 heads/Manifold which are p/p and the car runs good, but I did not get the numbers that I was looking for. Your best best is going either with the LE2 package, or gettings something from AI. With your stock heads and the LE2 cam you could get away with a big gain for under two grand. Just my two sense, and I have the LT4 stuff...

I forgot to add something, and if I could do it all over again I would just bolt on a procharger!

It would likely trap 6-7 mph faster. Its also a heads, cam, built trans, stalled and geared car[apples to oranges]. You didnt say what your current trap speeds are but I'd bet they're somewhere around 112mph, just my guess though. I would hope that an AI heads/cam car would make more hp than a hotcam only car.


To the OP, you wont see 400rwhp with the stock lt4 stuff. You're better off going with a heads/cam setup from a reputable shop. If its just a little extra hp for the street with great reliability then the LT4 stuff would work for you but you could get the same results cheaper.
