Question 1LE Elbow?

Just have a quick question guys. I was going to pick up a 1le elbow but I've noticed there are two different part numbers. One says for the 93-94 car and one for the 95-97 car. The only difference I can think of would be for the hole in the top for a vented opti. Any one know for sure?

I'm like 99% sure that you're right about the vented opti hole. But I can't be 100% sure because I've never researched it.

it is just the hole in the top for the opti is the only change in them. i had the one with on my car and put a small plug in it. now i updated to the newer opti style and use the hole.

pull the silencer off, stick to bottle in there; flat end first, enough to block it off and be flush on the inside. Cut it to size and seal it up.

basically you take the silencer off of the elbow, get a bottle of VO5 and cut it in half. then you guide the bottom of the bottle until it sits flush with the hole inside the elbow. cost me $1.07 and i now have a 1LE Elbow. I will take pics tomorrow if anyone wants them

Less than 40 bucks is a great price. You should get a bunch and open a 1LE Elbow store.

It's essentially a stock elbow minus the silencer that hangs down from the bottom. I'm assuming it was the elbow included with the 1LE package. If not, I have no idea why it's called a 1LE.

It was a special setup made for the Camaro..basically it's a stripper car with some Suspension tweaks, Spicer Aluminum Drive Shaft and no AC from the Factory. It was designed to be a road-racing package, all of them were 6-spd cars.

Your just pissed because you don't get a discount, lol. I'm about to pick up a front and rear bumper for my car also for when I repaint it and I'm getting both of them together for less than $350.
