Default Some new track times in the T/A

Alright well ill have to say i was pretty consistent lol. But i'm wondering about my 60ft times. Do you think they should be down a little more? It's a 6 speed car by the way with DR's but i don't want to leave hard and break the rear end. I looked at my old times with a horribly messed up tune and street tires and my 60ft. was the same.

My quickest 1/4 of the night had my best 60ft also of a 2.10 and my worst 1/4 pass was a 13.69

here is my best pass

60---------2.10
1/8 ET-----8.84
1/4 ET-----13.60
1/4 MPH----104

Mods in sig except the Torque Arm isn't installed yet. And obviously was not spraying

What do you guys think?

I pulled multiple 2.1 60' in my car with street tires, bad wheel hop, and a bad posi. Let'er rip and dont worry about the rear and see those time drop.

Don't worry about the rear. Give her hell. You've got more in there. Compare to my 6-spd times in sig.

i dont feel like just letting her rip. Its my only car and if it breaks i can't afford to fix it so i'm just going to play it safe.

You guys think a Torque arm would lower my 60ft or just help with traction. I have one just not installed yet

60ft is killing you, you also have factors like the weather/DA that will effect how the car runs.

Would strongly recommend that torque arm.

I think I cracked mine with just my street tires with a launch from my stall but getting it checked out. Thankfully I have a UMI one on the way

I know you can pull a better time than that. Your being real easy on it.
BTW how do you like that CRT elbow? Would you recommend it?

I'd look at LCA's as well if you're looking for more grip. But the more grip, the better 60', the more stress on the rear.

Gonna have to run it if you want better times, going to the track only to half *** the run is pointless.

What i think i have noticed is that the A4 guys can pull alot better 60ft time because i'm guessing that you guys leave pretty hard off the line. I leave at 3500 rpm on the street and about 3750 seems alright at the track, and does bogg a little bit.

Love the CRT elbow. looks stock, found out its aluminum the other day when i drilled it for the nitrous nozzle. no complaints besides the rubber coupler is a PITA to slide over the TB.

Hmm... maybe you are leaving pretty good... I have the 3600 stall so it helps me leave better but I am yet to get track times this year. Working on some suspension and the DR times Summotomo street tires don't hook worth a ****. 10-bolts generally tend to live longer lives behind the autos though thankfully for my case
