how do you even know it needs to be rebuilt?

take the filter of, cut the end off and pull the media out inspect it......

Thanks for the help, going to start looking around for a builder, started it today and I had noticed yesterday there was oil dripping underneath it. Thought it was just left over from the oil change, but nope there is a hole in the side of the oil pan. I think it needs a rebuild... WTF I don't get is why this happened after sitting on a pair of ramps....

Ouch, did you have a rod puncture the pan or something?

That's what it looks like, the hole is about half way up the side of the pan...
