Has anyone swapped there Lt1 opti for the Ls1 coilpack. If so give the pros and cons in you opinion. And how much was the project?

forgive my ignorance. whats the point? other than not having an opti to worry about...

not having a crap Opti to worry about is the key

I have plans to do the Ls1 ECU conversion at some point.

no opti
coil per cylinder
8K rpm
speed density tuning
FI guys..2 & 3 bar support

You can use EFI Live and HP tuners too.
If it was cost effective, everyone would do it...
However, it's not, so for the mean time, the stock ignition system is more than sufficient for most people.

agreed... that's why I just through another Opti on my car a few days ago
