When I crank it I don't hear anything turning over like I normally do.
I just hear a loud Clicking or a popping.
My lights are all very dim too. I've had problems with my battery before, is it just my shitty battery?

 

Probably so, jump it off or charge the battery and see. IF the battery is charged then Id check the starter.

 

its your battery, same thing happened to me last month. that clicking is the starter not fully engaging. however there is enough power to run the accessories. jump your car

 

I'm glad my suspicions were confirmed that it is just the crap batt.

let me know if that works! Another thing I came across is the coil wire to the Opti. I worked on mine and had unplugged that mire and forgotten to hook it back up. It would make a loud retarded popping sound but wouldnt start. Might check that too, maybe it will be a cheap fix

 

Loud retarded popping is the perfect way to describe it.
I'm really glad it wasn't the Opti. I couldn't find my battery charger so I jumped it off.
Works just fine now. Guess I'm gonna pick up a new battery soon.
