I'm saying the same thing.....Now granted I have 2 kids, a house, a bike, a newer truck, and not to mention the big tv and ps3, but Jeez.....I still can't afford to play with my car just yet.....I guess it just goes show that being a parent kills the ability to play with your toys...

I am 26 my body feels like 45 after miltary and the oilfield got a piece of my ***. I dont have a set career or a steady chic that I keep around I dont keep them around for too long they get on my nerves to easy. All my friends are getting married and have careers. I feel like I am so behind but actually I think I am the smarter 1. Marriage to me means the bitch gets half your **** when she bounces. This is believe it or not my 1st F body I have had it since 18 it was and still is my dream car. How many clean hardtop silver WS 6 you see around? I couldnt get rid of it or even dream of another F body.

I am still not smart enough to get an LS1

Yeah im 20 here. Bought my car when I was 19. Was stock except for the nock off brand exhaust. My mods are paid by saving a lot of my money from work. Will probably change when I get a gf.

Just turned 26. Got a great wife and a 2 year old. I have worked pretty hard for all of my cars but I believe I am also very good at finding good deals. My first car was the only car givin to me at 15. It was an 84 Isuzu P'up 4 speed and I still have it today. I swear you cant kill this truck. Anyone who has ever owned one knows what Im talking about. I swear I must have delivered 20,000 pizzas in that thing through high school and college. My first car I bought with my own money was a 70 Monte Carlo for $1200. Took me a year and a half to fully restore it and I will probably never sell this car. After delivering pizzas I bought my 94 Z28 6 speed for 4,000 that needed a little work cosmetically. I still remember looking for a car to buy at about 1 or 2 in the morning, going to all the car lots in town. I went late because I hate car salesman and how they hassle you. I saw the red Z sitting there and couldnt believe the price. I didnt know wha time they opened so I drove my P'up to the car lot at 6 A.M. the next morning and slept in the truck until they opened. The guy was laughing at me lol. After that I bought my 93 T/A for 3,000 and it had been in a front end collision but not too bad. Next was the best deal Ive come across yet. I got an 02 GMC Envoy for $4500 with 60,000 miles. Keep in mind this was in 2005 so it was only 3 years old. It had been run into a guard rail and a car so the damage was pretty extensive. Clean title too. I fixed the whole car for about $1100. This has been a great car and the ride is so smooth. My recent purchases were a 69 Chevelle with a 350/Powerglide for $3400 which I just got done with a new 355 and turbo 350 install, and an 03 Ninja with only 1200 miles for $1500. Being a body man really pays off and I'm happy to say I have never made or seen a car payment in my life nor have I ever taken my car to a mechanic. Been to the muffler shop once though!
