Default is this window motor problem ?

the day I bought my car, I already have trouble with driver side window. some time it go half way, so time it does not go up at all, I heard a buzz noise when I try to press it, when it hot out side the window dont work, now it does not work at all. some time I press on it, it just move very very little and it stop. Where is perfect motor for replacement ? I heard advance auto have good motor, do I need new regulator ? thanks

All you need is the motor. Most places sell them at reasonable prices. Do yourself a favor and do NOT go with a dealer motor - you'll pay out the ***.

I would recommend using rivets, like the stock motor does. I thought I had a bad window motor, but it turned out that the nuts came loose, and it was causing the motor to just flop around in there. It's really not that much harder to pull the regulator and motor out and rivet the new motor onto it. Then, you'll never have the problem of the nuts possibly coming loose, like mine did. You could probably even get a rivet gun in the holes drilled in the door panel.
