Default hooker header question

If i get the hooker super comp headers, what do i do with all pipe in the fron that hooks to both manifilds originally and the one in the back of the intake, block off the intake? and do away with the pipe and air pump? and a check engine light i presume, what do you guys do, does hooker even make the one with the ports in the header...

I got Dynatech headers witout emissions, so the spots in the headers for the emissions are not even there.

As far as your question goes, here is what I suggest.

Buy EGR Block-Off plates. Those will cover the holes for all your EGR stuff.

Get rid of all the stock EGR and AIR stuff such as the pipes, the AIR pump, hoses, etc...

It will pop an engine code and **** your computer off, so have your computer tuned and get the EGR and AIR tuned out of it so that it doesn't even look for it. It will get rid of the codes and clean up the engine bay a little bit.

I am positive Hooker makes some headers that do not have the emissions ports as well.

I thought so...so IMO, go with the Hookers that don't have emissions, block off your EGR stuff, remove your AIR stuff, and tune it all out of the computer!

Best choice.
