borla exhaust problems...
after explaining the whole exhaust fiasco, he tells me that somebody backed into the rear quarter panel of my car while it was sitting in the parking lot!
they said that they had already contacted a body shop and are willing to pay for it. so thats good. but now i have to deal with that, on top of finding a different place to put my exhaust on!! what a great ******* day. /rantso tell me, is this place just trying to sell me their muffler and make some extra cash? or does it really not fit??
That shops sounds very shady. They won't do what you wand and they fucked up your car to boot. Don't let their freind at a hole in the wall paint shop down the street do a mickey mouse job on your body repair either. Take pictures, take your car to 3 reputable body shops and get estimates and give them to the exhaust shop.
93-94 are single cat cars.
the 93-94 has an s-pipe that connects to the cat, i think the 95+ is just straight.
i bought a corsa from a guy that was from a 96/7 twin cat car.
i just cut the s-pipe where i needed and welded the corsa right to it. no big deal..
upper left corner is the s pipe for the 93-94 cars

95+ exhaust..

hope that helped some.

Oh and bowtie, i think they started putting twin cats on 96 and up.
i just dont understand why they couldnt simply fab something up for me.. oh well. never going back there again. the funny thing is that when we were talking about it he was telling me about the flow-pro mufflers they have, and hes like "we can weld one of those up there and it'll sound 5 times better then that borla". i was like riiight
