Shes Dead time for a rebuild Ok so i finaly got my new performabuilt level 2 in which ripps outa the hole and now the motor has given up!!!!!! seems to be the story of my life any way i lost oil pressure so i thought ok time for an oil change/flush and filter change also added a mechanical gauge due to the possiblity of a faulty reading. that seemed to have done it untill i took it out tonight was going good for a few miles and then she started to drop in pressure the the motor started to get hot.
finally made it home around 230*F mind you my car rarely gets above 190*F oil pressure at 5psi at 2000 soo its done time for a rebuild
Unless anyone has some ideas as far as anyhting else?
If certin things are in line ill re use them such as rods, crank. i will be getting new pistons looking for a set that are worthwile any sugestions and who makes a good rebuild kit?
