Hey guys, im doing plugs in a couple hours, i no **** me right, well im getting the ngk tr55 plugs, i have a 280xfi comp cam, all the bolt ons, head work, what would be a good gap size for my plugs, no nitrous or boost at all straight n/a, i was thinking .045, all comments encouraged

 

I've heard that .035-.040 is a good gap with heads/cam. Surely someone will chime in with a similar setup.

I heard someone recently curse .035...said it ran like crap until it was gapped back to .050...but thats just one person...havent really seen anything else...

 

hmm.. i've got ac delcos and are gapped at .50.. lloyd recommended autolite 104's at .35. Am I missing out on anything? Car drives a whole lot better over the stock motor.
