Default 93 headers on a 96?

I recently bought some mid-lenght pacesetters and ypipe that came off a 93 for real cheap. I was wondering if they'll fit my 96 or should i just sell them and buy some other ones?

They'll fit no problem. You might have to fabricate something to connect your cat back to the y-pipe. But it's nothing a compitent exhaust shop can't handle.

Oh okay, I was told that the egr/air and o2 sensor were different therefore it wasn't gonna work.

ss.slp.ls1, you forgot a thing or two.

The size of the AIR injection tubes from 93-95 (M22) changed in 96 (M18), so that will be something to overcome. Also, what do you plan on doing with your cats? If you are deleting them (the 93-95 y-pipe deletes/relocates them), you will need O2 simulators (or a PCM tune to remove them) as well.

The smog fittings are really different since 93s have a unique design. The air pump fitting threads in by the #1 cyl primary, the 93s have no provision for the air pump to connect to the number 2 primary since the 93s air pump doesn't cross over to the other side like 94+ cars. The EGR doesn't connect to the back side of the #8 primary tube like on a 94+ car but threads in to the top of the primary similar to how the air pump fitting connects in.

Sorry guys. Whenever someone asks about headers, I immediately assume race style and ORY...
