no cats bad? i recently took both cats off my 97 trans am....but now i get like 4 check engine codes mainly with o2 sensors, since the car is cursed with a bunch of emissions BS will running the car with no cats mess it up?

You need to tune out the rear sensors or run simulators in place of them. Then this will not be the cause of any check engine codes.

Just get it tuned out and you will be fine unless you have Emissions to pass 
That's only if you were to run your car with say shorty headers and no y pipe or if you ran your car with no manifolds or headers or anything. People run longtubes with no y pipe with no issues. Yes you need to get it tuned for the rear o2's and no cats.
