Default Local exhaust shop!!!

So yeah I'm running straight hooker super comp headers which is loud as hell and I was original wanting to run into an X-pipe and then out the back over the axle into my 3" echo cams. The guy made it out to be like it was impossible to do but yet I see all kinds of pictures of it every where. Do you think running into the x-pipe and then trun downs wiould drowned out the sound a bit! Should I put bullets on there or what! He said using the x-pipe might not even be a good idea because it draws the pipes right the in the center and the fuel lines are right there which is what I see in alot of folks exhaust setups. What do you all suggest. I can't be running a nascar around town here, lol! Inputs pics would be great on what folks suggest and have done, this is on my 94 Z28 with a forged 355 and a cc306! Sounds good but open headers like I said is loud!

Meh. I have open headers right now. Sounds just right

I had planned on doing a y pipe into a bullet, then a turndown - but I'm now thinking more along the same lines as you. I would do an x-pipe with bullets turned down right before the axle. They look and sound beastly.

Go some where else...
Head wrap the pipes near the fuel lines if you wish.
