Default i need help!

okay so i have a 1997 camaro Z28 with about 150,xxx and i got it about 5 months ago and well it ran hard, but one night i let my friend drive it and it came back with a blown clutch. so i got that fixed with a clutch mater stage 4 clutch and i broke it in and all that but now when i get on it in first gear right about 5300 rpms it just gives out like it sounds like its still climing but its just gives out, im not sure if it does it all the time cause im scared to do that again. i have no idea what it could be, that being said, im also a newbie and im only 17. i would greatly appreciate any help onto figuring this out.

But once i figure this out and hopefully fix this soon, i would also like some help on how to build my camaro and what steps to take next. i have k&n intake which came with it when i got it. and yes of course its a m6

possibly fuel pump or fuel filter, get a fp gauge and see what it does throughout the rpms

if it was a fuel issue I don't think the rpms would still climb, more than likely in that event it would buck and sputter. If I read correctly you said that the rpms climb but you don't feel like it is accelerating anymore?? If that is the case I would suspect something aft of the flyweel. I am not too familiar with m6 but would a clutch slipping issue cause this?? Not enough pressure on the pressure plate causing the clutch plate to slip under high rpms when you are making the most power?? Perhaps a throwout bearing hanging up a little bit? Like I said I have never owned an m6 but the clutch assembly seems to be the most likely source of your problems
