Default Car is pulling knock retard... need help.

My car is pulling timing at all RPM's most notably at WOT. I took it to a track last night and it was pulling 6 degrees of timing with 110 octane gas in it. I mean I know obviously detonation would cause it to pull timing, but what else could cause it to pull false knock? The rocker arms are tapping and need a slight adjustment, but nothing bad so what else do I need to check?

The car has a 12:1 compression 396, so obviously its gonna make alot more noise than a stock LT1 so I feel like it is false knock, but I do not know what could be causing it.

Also does anyone on here know if the knock sensor is something that can simply be unplugged or if there is a way to bypass it using LT1edit? My old car actually never had this issue so I have no experience with it.

You can't just unplug it because the pcm will default to pulling a bunch of timing all the time. I don't have any tuning capabilities so I used a resistor and bypassed the sensor. It worked like a charm.

I was getting up to 16 degrees of KR on my mail order tune, now with a dyno tune I never get any.
