Oil Restrictors
How many of you are running a solid roller cam are using oil restrictors to limit flow to the upper valve train? I've alway's thought this was the better option with roller rockers and solid lifters, But I talked with a builder yesterday who's got a good rep in my area and he suggested to not install restrictors. That by doing so it starved the cam lobes and if the engine was used only at the track it would be ok,but street use would start causing problems. Just thought I would throw this out and see what the gerneral concensus is on this ..

I am running oil restricting pushrods which I bought from Smith Brothers.
Because of the Isky RedZone mechanical roller lifters having extra oil ports for cam lobe lubrication at low rpm oil pressure was reduced in my engine.
