Default AC problem

I was wondring if anyone can help me get the ac on i have tried re chargering it and the thing said it was full i checked the fuses and replaced them to be on safe side still nothing seems to me the compressor aint cutting on What controls that and how cn i check it better ? Dont know if its connected but my heater core is by passed at the moment because it went bad recently thanks in advance guys

If it was low the compressor wont cut on disconnect the battery for a few mins and then hook it back up and see if it wont kick on. then check the freon level, you should never put it in if the compressor is not kicking on because your not getting a correct reading

What would keep the compressor from cutting on ? Fuses are fine and i am not expert on ac but if you tell mei can figure it out

Ok well i tried rechargering and now i am really confused it got nice aND cool for like 2 minutes then went back to warm ?? its making no sense and now the gauge is reading overfull so i am going to my unclesto let him look

Its reading overfilled because the compressor is not on. It will read 90-100 psi of pressure until the Compressor is on. You want about 40 psi of R134 when compressor is on.

My 94 sets a low freon code in the ECM. Clear the code and your a go

You said it cooled for about two minutes then quit,you may have problem on the high side so check it also.

Also the compressor WONT kick on if you are low on refrigerant. U Need to jumper the relay to force it on then, you can check the pressure, and fill as needed.
