Default Header question.

Ok so i have decided its time to install some headers on to my 94 camaro z28. My question is will a set of pacesetter longtube headers fit? My brother wasn't sure if they would fit or not so im just trying to figure out if those would work or should i pick a different set of headers for my car?

I don't understand this question? If you are buying pacesetter headers that are designed for your car than yeah I am going to go ahead and say that they will fit. Pacesetters are one of the best priced/best fitting sets of headers on the market for Fbody but they do not offer a stainless steel version so a lot of people opt for the longevity of the stainless. They are also 1 3/4" primaries not stepped to 1 7/8" like some other available sets but then again it is personal preference. I own pacesetters, I will buy them again, and for I would say 85% of people these headers are a good match for performance, fitment, and cost effectiveness.

If I were you I would go with the LPP headers. Wait a few days and I will tell you my gains. I agree with stainless being the better option. I hunted around and talked to CMS and some other shops about what kind of headers to get, and they all agreed Pacesetters are pretty good for budget, but I would go with LPPs (they are basically stainless steel versions of the stepped kooks longtubes), they might even be a little cheaper. The other thing is that stainless is the way to go. Those coated ones don't seem to hold up as well in the long run, especially if you are somewhere that rust is an issue. Flaking of the coating is also an issue.
Being that you have a 97, you should not have to go through all the siliness that I had to deal with (ss.slp.ls1 can tell you about most of that), as all the guys with 97s they just slid right in with no fitment issues. Bastards. I had to pull all sorts of wierd things to get mine to fit right. There is a HUGE thread in this section about those headers. Be prepared to make some changes before you install them. I thought I was good to go, and had to buy all sorts of things last minute, so if you have a little time, make a list, ask some questions, then hunt around and order the parts on line. PM me and I will fill you in... or if you cannot get ahold of me, talk to ss.slp.ls1, he knows everything I had to do, he was there for a good portion of it.
