MAP sensor??

Recently discovered my MAP sensor was shot. I bought a new one,unpluged negative batt terminal, and pulled the fuse driver side for about 10/15 mins. Connected batt, put fuse back in, and car wont start with new sensor. Will start with old messed up one but not new.Friend said its probably a bad sensor (that advance infamous for that) but id like to think my luck not THAT bad. Any other ideas why car wont start with new map?

well if it still starts with the old one then it has to be the new one....

Don't use cheap crap for vital engine sensors. Get a new GM sensor.

I sprung the extra $25 for acdelco over the BWD lol.. I feel ya though its just advanced is right there! Im going to get gm and go from there
