Default Need some help

Hey guys so I am having some trouble again. Back in febuary I blew a head gasket and had a bad head so I bought a lt-4 hotcam and some 561 heads. Got everything installed and was having zero oil pressure. So I ended up taking the oil pan off to find that my oil pump screen had come off. It also had spun a rod bearing. So I take it apart to a short block and take it to a machine shop that I was recommend by. So I got my engine back and put the heads, rockers, etc on and filled it up with oil and primed the oil system. This is also a brand new melling 155 pump and screen. I also have an arp oil pump drive shaft. So I have gotten the car back together and check everything. Had to jump the battery to get it to start and guess what I have zero oil pressure again. So after spending almost all my saving to get this thing back on the road its still giving me the same problem of zero oil pressure. Does anyone have any ideas. I really don't have the money at the moment to take it anywhere. What sucks is that I have about $2500 in new parts in it.

Bad oil pressure sender?

Did you get new cam bearings? You may have had more than a spun rod bearing.

broken oil sending unit on the back of the intake manifold??? its the thing that sends signal to the gauge.

maybe hook up a mechanical gauge (the port above the oil filter) to it to verify pressure.

i might the car has brand new bearings. When i ran it for like 10 seconds it was shaking like it had new oil. I also just replaced the sending unit and I know both are working.

I agree, time for a mechanical gauge. What do you mean, shaking like it has new oil? That makes no sense to me at all.
