Default lt1 in a rail

anyone ever put a lt1 in a rail? just curious my dad had the idea of usin my old block for that. if so did you convert to carb? any info would be cool

I could only imagine how ridiculous that would be. Some guy had a rail with a VW 2.0 Beetle engine in it and it ran like 10.xx or so.

we were goin to build a rail but then my car needed a rebuilt and we went crazy on my car. but you can get a roller for a few thousand so it.d be doable with my old motor. could hit 8s easily in a rail but id like to see if anyone has done one with a ltx motor.

a really good buddy of mine has an ls1 in his rail... left the Fuel injection on it. its one bad *** machine.
