Need some advice Hey guys, I need some help, please respond if you have any ideas.
Every other week or so my SES light keeps poppin up on and off. Everytime I get it scanned it comes up the same everytime, the car is running rich. Never anything else except that. The SES code seems to be triggered by heat and will stay on for about a day, and when it gets cool enough it will turn off for several days.
Some friends have suggested new O2 sensors, but some other friends suggested it is simply because of the headers. I currently have MAC's midlength headers with their offroad y-pipe. Maybe the EGR is causing the code?? I don't know!! I was planning on purchasing some new O2's anyway, but just wondering maybe if ya'll have any insight into the problem, what else could it be??

If you have any exhaust leaks from the collectors or headergaskets it will cause the computer to think you are running lean and so it will dump more fuel thus giving you a rich condition. check for blown exhuast gaskets. if not, then myu bet would be a faulty O2 sensor
