Unhappy Fuel Economy Problem!

Hi guys, I have a 95 z28 pretty much factory. The only thing that I have done to it is remove the cat adn put a bulllet resinator muffler in its place. I didnt notice an imidiate difference in fuel economy but since then it has been slowly degrading. Now I get an average of about 11 to 15 miles to the gallon on the highway. I've done small things like change the filter and clean the injectors but no luck yet. If you guys can think of anything let me know! thanks alot!
