Default Question about Jet Chip + Programmer

I currently have both the jet chip, and the programmer installed on my LT1.

My question is, will I get LESS performance if BOTH if these programs are running? Ive never seen someone run both of these at the same time to get more power, but I was just wondering incase I have 2 programs running against each other. The car seems to run fine, but head to head against a 100% Stock Z28, i won by MAYBE a 1/2 car. So im like WTF?

The car itself is stock besides SLP Exhaust, MSD Opti, MSD Wires, K&N Cold air.

Im unsure of the actual Jet Chip "Stage".. I recently found it once I pulled the PCM out and then noticed it was hidden behind the computer. The serial was worn off (damn paper stickers...)

But the question I have, that no one has answered yet would be..

If both the programmer AND the chip hooked up to the car and installed, would it make it run worse? I know in the Honda world, having 2 different programs confuses the computer and doesnt run as it should.

I removed the programmer install and it ran hot (since the fans werent kicking on at 160)

I havent removed the chip yet, but Just seeing if it would be worth my time.
