just do it. i tried to save money by doing the headliner myself a few years ago and after the original board broke during the nistall and i had to get a used one from T/A creations, and buy another $30 worth of glue, i ended up paying $200 to recover an old baord and it came out alright but not as good as if i would have just bought a new board with fabric on it.
