installing the keyed crank hub???
i know that this subject has be discussed time and time again, but i was unable to find this answer.
I went ahead and installed a keyed crank hub and key on my car just in case i do decide to go FI down the road. Now these hubs do slide on a little easier than the factory one. It actually slide on enough to thread the bolt on a few thread then it stopped. Am i able to start threading in the bolt and it push the hub on the rest of the way and the crank threads be strong enough to withstand the stress? Or will i strip them out?
I know people use all thread to install the factory ones with a pug spacer and a nut. Just didnt know if still applies when i am able to get my bolt started.
Thanks, mike
