Default Tranny Cooler Electrical Connector???

While removing the traction control module on suspicion it was shorting out on startup and smoking, I noticed that two wires from an electrical connector from my tranny cooler go for about 6 inches then stop, they would have looked as if they were connected to something if not for me removing the splash shield. 1 wire is just severed, the other is severed with a butt connector, leading me to believe it went somewhere but there is no wire in sight. I did not install the cooler, the shop did during the rebuild so I have no clue where it should go.

Uhhh...transmission coolers have no electrical components, unless you are using one with a built-in fan. Can you take a picture of what it is you're talking about?
